At our core, we’ve always been passionate about finding great homes for people. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about seeing someone walk through the door of a house that truly feels like “home”—a place where memories will be made, laughter will fill the rooms, and lives will unfold.

But recently, we’ve noticed something that’s tugged at our hearts in a new way. As we’ve been managing and showing properties, we’ve encountered a growing number of stray cats in the neighborhoods we serve. During a random property showing, we met Preston. He was starving, and seemed that he had been on the streets for some time. We brought him in, and found him a new home in less than a week. Last night, his new family contacted us to let us know that he has FIV and that they are unable to keep him. He is so special, and has had such a hard life. It breaks our hearts to think that he just found warmth and comfort, and has been moved to a garage. If you are interested in opening your home to him, please email julie@livewtprops.com.

We know that finding a home for someone is so much more than just handing over keys. It’s about creating a sense of security and belonging. And the more we’ve thought about it, the more we realized: why not extend that same passion for finding homes to our furry friends in need? After all, every animal deserves the same kind of safe, loving environment that we work so hard to provide for people.

We’re thrilled to announce that we are beginning to take steps toward helping these sweet cats find the homes they deserve. In addition to our real estate work, we’re going to start partnering with local animal shelters, hosting adoption events, and creating awareness around the importance of rescuing these stray animals.

We’re still in the early stages of expanding our efforts, but we’re excited about the future and the difference we can make in both the human and animal communities.
